This morning I was setting myself to do a post on Muhlenberg matters when I remembered that the hospital used to have, or has, its own foundation, the Muhlenberg Foundation. I also, although vaguely, remember that there is a Board of Trustees (Directors?). So, I wondered, was there ever a group, or an individual, following Muhlenberg matters and leaving a presence of documentation on the web?
My search turned out a blog: The Muhlenberg Independents. The blog's last post is from February 18, 2012 and is kept by a local resident.
After reading some of the documents posted there I am left wondering if the office of the Attorney General has been contacted by those who are close to Muhlenberg matters.
The community needs to have an update from those residents who are close to Muhlenberg matters as communication and updates on this matter from those who know can result in a more meaningful understanding of what has been happening since the hospital closed and could result in stronger support from the community.
Can we please get an update on Muhlenberg matters from those who have been advocating for fiscal accountability from Solaris/JFK?

Maria, I'm glad that at last you have gotten interested in our Muhlenberg problem.
I get the impression that citizens are more likely to criticize the efforts of uncompensated private citizens.
The fact is that taxpayers are funding the efforts of elected, appointed and employed individuals who are supposed to be improving isues such as healthcare and education.
Unfortunately, the worse things are, the more secure ome individuals are in their jobs and federal funding.
Until government funding creates incentives for achievement, there will be no motivation to end difunction.
I'd like to hear from peole who are willing to use their name and do more than Maria has done.
