Thanks to Media Division, PCTV and Parents We Can Now Watch BOE Meetings All Week Long!

Nothing like good news to end one's week and the following news are, for many of us, just that, good news.

I came home this evening to find the news that the local channel will be airing school board meetings on a newly revised schedule.  The *new schedule offers parents and community members a broad range of viewing times during the 7 days of the week.

Much thanks go to Media Division and Lamar Mackson, Chairman of Plainfield Cable TV Advisory Board, both listened to those parents who suggested times for a new schedule.

And much credit goes to PTO/PTA parents from our public schools who gave their suggestions to the Media Division for a friendlier schedule for parents and those who work!  Bravo!!!!

*New Schedule for the December 20th Meeting, Effective 1/20/2012:

Sunday 8:00 PM
Monday 8:30 PM
Tuesday 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM
Wednesday 9:00 PM
Thursday:  4:30 PM
Friday 6:00 PM
Saturday 1:00 PM

***Just a warning about the December 20th meeting:  The meeting had 9 insurance salesman giving their sales pitch to the board at the beginning of the meeting, right after them is, I believe, when public comments were opened.  Keep this on mind when, and if, you view the televised meeting.

I too sincerely thank PCTV,Lamar Mackson, Chairman of Plainfield Cable TV Advisory Board, Maria Pellum and all the community members who made the revised BOE airing schedule a reality!

I hope others will join me as I make one additional No-Cost/High Returns request of PCTV and Chairman Mackson:
**Please create a PCTV channel on Youtube and upload our BOE meetings. It is extremely easy, great public relations and a huge service to the public.
Thank you for considering my request!
