School Reconfiguration Announced

Last night I learned, through Twitter, that Plainfield schools are being reconfigured. Apparently an announcement was made Friday morning, as per this Twitter user, though no announcements can be found at the school district's website you can find an announcement at the school board president's own personal blog where you can read that a parent forum has been called for to inform/discuss (?) school configuration; the date for the parent forum has been set for Friday December 16th, the time is from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the high school.

A community forum for the same purpose then will take place the following Monday, December 19th, at 6:30 PM at Hubbard Middle School (have you seen the school's nice pole flags?).

The school board and the district seem to be hearing, and reading, that we need timely notification and this is much appreciated. Hopefully parents and community will make the time to attend these important meetings.
