Following an old family tradition of chasing after 4th of July's Parades, this year we decided to find out how the other Plainfields celebrated 4th of July.
South Plainfield has a Labor Day instead of a 4th of July Parade, so that settled it for South Plainfield. If you want to participate in their Labor Day Parade, here is how you can do it. Click HERE and scroll down for information.
Down below find a slide of North Plainfield's Parade. We found it very close to what we were used to back in Bergen County, a family affair of pride and cheer. Looking into the North Plainfield's web site I found the information to participate in the 4th of July's Parade. Click HERE to find out more how NP does it.
I have been told that long time ago the three Plainfields used to have a joint Parade. Why, or how, it stopped I have no idea, but if someone wants to illustrate those of us that are fairly new to Plainfield, please feel free to send your comments.
